Howard and Sons open armchair c1860 A 19th century buttoned back open arm chair by Howard and Sons. Now recovered in the early H&S ticking appropriate for the period of manufacture. All the upholstery underneath is traditional, having springs and horsehair, everything is as it should be and in very good order. Dating from around 1860 and having the classic turned front legs and arm supports made from Walnut. The back left leg number stamped with a number and a journeyman name.
