A superb quality antique Country house sofa raised on 4 nicely turned legs with original brass castors. The silk upholstery is I believe to be original and not without its flaws with some historic water marks and a small tear at the back.

The look and build quality of this sofa is very much in the manner of Howard and son's having lightly padded and sprung arms and back, the seat pad being filled with horse hair and also being sprung from the base make this a very comfortable place to sit. A truly one off top quality piece of Victorian craftsmanship!
