Khudrang Kilim Footstool

Khudrang has recently seen an increase in demand due to the fact that these kilims are made using the natural grey, cream and black colours of wool. The wool is not dyed. Therefore the name, Khudrang, which means 'own colour' or 'myself colour'

The rug is handcrafted by women from the nomadic tribes of northern Afghanistan in their homes using weaving and craftsmanship techniques unique to each family going back for centuries.
The wooden legs are sourced from a local wood turner and sturdy frames are handmade in-house by ourselves. 

If you'd like a footstool in a custom size or colour, please do let us know - we'll do our best to help. 
Please note the legs are removed for delivery but can be easily screwed back on upon arrival.
