A Painted Pine 'Bread & Cheese' Cupboard.
From a dairy house producing milk and cream on the Island of Muhu.
This large Swedish influenced larder cabinet is painted in a dark green, almost black paint which is distressed and worn in 'touch use' areas.
The door features large woven latticework. There are four shelves internally. A part of an old horseshoe is used as a catch for the door.
There are various mouse holes, and a registration plate to one side.
Long since treated for woodworm - no longer active.
