A Druce & Co Scroll Arm Country House Sofa - 3-seater

In the Regency style, dating from 1850 and made in London.

With three reeded legs to the front and three tapered, splayed legs to the back, retaining the original gilding throughout and the original Druce & Co stamped castors to all.

Traditionally upholstered throughout with horsehair fillings and springs to the seat and arms, with feather and down cushions to the seat.

Very comfortable and with a good presence.

Length 209cm × Width 91cm × Height 85cm, with a seat width of 160cm, seat depth of 63cm, and seat height of 48cm.

Druce & Co was founded by Thomas Charles Druce and is listed at the addresses of King Street, Portman Square, and Baker Street, London, as upholsterers, cabinet makers, and decorators, with the royal families of England and Prussia among its patronage.
