A 19th Century chesterfield sofa attributed to Gillows.

Solid oak frame with mahogany legs, hand turned to the front and splayed to the rear, all legs on brass cope castors.

Traditionally upholstered throughout with a webbed and sprung seat, back and arm rests, with horsehair fillings.

Metric: Width 220cm x Depth 88cm x Height 74cm, with a seat width of 169cm, seat depth of 58cm and a seat height of 40cm.

Imperial: Width 7 ft 2½" x Depth 2 ft 11" x Height 2 ft 5", with a seat width of 5 ft 6½", seat depth of 1 ft 11" and a seat height of 1 ft 3½"

Currently it retains some old calico and is being sold for upholstery which we can organise.
