This is a large, oversized country house armchair with a strong presence.
Circa 1890.
The chair has been lined with a browny-green striped linen ticking, making it ready for an uncomplicated upholstery job.
Width 75cm x Depth 100cm x Height 87cm, with a seat width of 48cm, a seat depth of 62cm and a seat height of 34cm.
In the manner of a similar chair in our archive which was stamped 'J.Mills'.
