"Jackson & Graham of Oxford Street London was one of the elite firms of early and mid-Victorian London and played a major role, through the international exhibitions from 1851 onwards, in raising the reputation of London furniture makers in the European and international markets."
"Much of Jackson & Graham’s success was due to their employment of talented professional designers. Among those who worked for the firm at some time or other were Owen Jones, Christopher Dresser, Thomas Jacob, Thomas Colcutt, R. W. Edis, Bruce Talbert and Thomas Jeckyll. They also employed a number of French designers, including Eugene Prignot and Alfred Lormier".
