Vintage 20s 30s Pine Industrial 5 Drawer Filing Cabinet Pedestal Desk

believed to be from West Riding County Council in wakefield as stamped WRCC..

Solid pitch pine with a panelled design and very heavy.Black rexine top with outer gallery.

5 drawers and 1 door with internal filing cabinet.Original cup handles. There is a key for the door and the kneehole drawer. unfortunately the lock on the door doesn't work with the key but all the drawers lock.

Other than the top being removable the desk comes as one unit and can not be dismantled further so please check the dimensions to make sure it will fit through doorways.

 Measurements: 137.5cm widest point x 76cm depth x 76cm height.  Kneehole space: 40cm width x 59cm height.

Good vintage condition: expected age/ use wear & tear including internal ink stains to the filing section and discolouration and marks to the black rexine covered top but otherwise without structural damage.
