Antique Upholstered Chaise Longue or 'Long Armchair'- with concealed storage.

An antique traditionally upholstered chaise longue, likely dating from the late 19th or very early 20th century.

Of generous reclining proportions, the chaise has a high upholstered back and arm to one end, with a long sprung seat. The seat lifts to reveal a useful concealed storage compartment beneath - like and ottoman.

Raised on tapered timber legs with the original brass castors.

The frame is firm and in good order, with no known structural issues. A recent striped blue lining fabric has been fitted to give the chaise a clean presentation, although it is offered for reupholstery and provides a good opportunity for finishing in a fabric of choice.
