Particularly striking are the densely worked borders surrounding the door and carcass, formed from repeated punched circles, geometric triangular ornament and further elongated floral motifs.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe door is hung on a pair of long decorative iron strap hinges and retains its lock, shaped escutcheon and rounded knob, although there is no key. The pine interior is fitted with a shelf and several iron hooks.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe cupboard has a good, naturally aged surface throughout, with considerable variation in colour and wear to the pine and decoration.
