An ash with elm seat with a three piece arm bow sitting on nicely turned legs connected by a double H stretch. The wear and patina to the original black paint on this chair is absolutely gorgeous and such that only time and use can recreate!
The Yorkshire regional style had a tendency to be heavier with a larger seat, this example is attributed to Halifax in West Yorkshire and has been sat in a farm house next to a fire for decades
